We are a vertically integrated commercial biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets specialty plasma-based biologics for the treatment of Primary Immune Deficiency Disease (“PIDD”) and the prevention and treatment of certain infectious diseases. Our targeted patient populations include immune-compromised individuals who suffer from an underlying immune deficiency disorder or who may be immune-suppressed for medical reasons. Our product candidates are intended to be used by physician specialists focused on caring for immune-compromised patients with or at risk for certain infectious diseases.
Our goal is to be a leader in developing and commercializing specialized, targeted, plasma-derived therapeutics to extend and enhance the lives of individuals who are naturally or medically immune-compromised.
ADMA also operates ADMA BioCenters. These centers are FDA-licensed source plasma collection facilities that provide a portion of blood plasma for the manufacture of the Company's lead product candidate RI-002. This source plasma is also used for ADMA's other commercial immune globulin products.
