Biography

Mr. Salas has been a director of the Company since December 2024 and is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee. Mr. Salas has extensive experience as a financial executive serving both publicly traded and privately-owned companies. Since 2022, Mr. Salas has served on the audit committee of Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. From 2021 to 2023, Mr. Salas served as the lead independent director and audit committee chair of Embody, Inc., a private company that was acquired by Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. From 2020 to 2022, Mr. Salas served as Chief Financial Officer of Wellstat Therapeutics, LLC, a company focused on the development and distribution of pharmaceutical drugs. Prior to his tenure at Wellstat, Mr. Salas served as a senior client serving audit partner of Ernst & Young LLP (“EY”) from 2002 until retirement in 2019. Mr. Salas has a B.A. in business administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio. During his time at EY, Mr. Salas completed Strategic Leadership programs at Harvard Business School and at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
